ANNOUNCING OUR SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION OF KOMODO dPoW INTO MIL

To the Einsteinium community,

We have achieved a major step in the release of MIL. Our recent blog post highlights this key innovative feature and shows where we are in our roadmap for release, and our next action items.

More details about the EMC2/MIL roadmap can be found here.

Security on the blockchain is of fundamental importance. It allows us to release a safe and effective product, currently EMC2, and in the near future MIL.

The actions taken by the Einsteinium and Komodo teams, to implement Komodo’s delayed Proof of Work (dPoW), solidifies the strength of the MIL network and directly drives our ability to promote widespread adoption and usage. The Einsteinium Foundation has been working with the Komodo team for years as a core technology and we want to continue our strong relationship. Komodo’s technology is anchored to the 4 Pillars of Blockchain Technology: security, scalability, interoperability, and adaptability:

  • Komodo's dPoW mechanism recycles the hashrate of the network to protect all integrated blockchains an equal level of security. This is made possible by storing backups of individual blocks onto the decentralized ledgers of other blockchains.

  • The process of storing backups of individual blocks onto another blockchain's ledger is called notarization. Komodo's decentralized network of 64 Notary Nodes carries out the technical work required to successfully complete notarizations.

Additional details regarding this unique method of blockchain protection can be found here: https://komodoplatform.com/en/blog/delayed-proof-of-work/

Our team is focused on the growth of Einsteinium and a strong future with MIL. We are proud of our progress, the contributions made by our team and the commitment of our community.

Sincerely,
Leadership of the Einsteinium Foundation.
